Accessibility
This accessibility statement applies to the website of Common Codes GmbH published at http://d-you.gov.de/.
As a public sector body within the meaning of Directive (EU) 2016/2102, we are committed to making our websites and mobile applications accessible in accordance with the provisions of the German Federal Disability Equality Act (Behindertengleichstellungsgesetz, BGG) and the Barrier-Free Information Technology Ordinance (Barrierefreie-Informationstechnik-Verordnung, BITV 2.0), which transpose Directive (EU) 2016/2102.
Compliance status
The accessibility requirements are set out in Section 3 (1) to (4) and Section 4 of BITV 2.0, which was issued on the basis of Section 12d BGG.
The assessment of compliance with these requirements is based on an evaluation carried out by TWIN CUBES GmbH from 28 October 2026 to 29 October 2026 using the BITV test in accordance with EN 301 549.
Based on this assessment, the website is partially compliant with the requirements listed above.
The content listed below is not accessible for the following reasons:
- When the website language is set to English, the alternative text for some images remains in German.
- There are numerous images that serve purely decorative purposes and convey no information essential to understanding the content. However, these images are not marked as decorative.
- When a user-defined style sheet is applied, some important user interface elements and functions, such as “Easy Language” (Leichte Sprache), are difficult or impossible to recognise and use.
- In some cases, page content does not reflow correctly at a screen width of 320 CSS pixels (or at a screen width of 1280 CSS pixels with a browser zoom level of 400%).
- When navigating one of the carousels on the home page by keyboard, the text content is not displayed separately but overlaps.
- In the mobile view, the partner filter element requires a swipe or multi-finger gesture. No alternative, such as buttons, is provided.
- Some controls use incorrect or unsuitable attributes, so certain information is not conveyed correctly to users of assistive technologies.
